“I thought you said Babanusa?” Harrison asked. “Wasn’t that it?”
Kaz had driven his cannonball of a car straight through the village and out into open desert. The sun hung low against the desert’s outer limits now, taking on an eerie twilight indigo across the horizon. There was no stopping Kaz, even as the locals cursed at them streetside, shooing away the car’s dust plumes as it passed.
